Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Guggenheim by Pol Bury was auctioned at Phillips in London in January 2024. The price achieved of GBP 445.00 (€ 744.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pol Bury achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fontaine - 1988 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 219,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Guggenheim von Pol Bury kam im Januar 2024 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 445,00 (€ 744,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pol Bury erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fontaine - 1988 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 219.800,00.
