Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work The music lesson by Pio Ricci. The price achieved of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,361.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pio Ricci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Lovers'S Spat, which sold at auction in June 2008 for USD 46,875.00 (€ 29,765.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The music lesson von Pio Ricci zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.361,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pio Ricci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Lovers'S Spat beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für USD 46.875,00 (€ 29.765,68) versteigert wurde.
