It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,089.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Testa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aeneas On The Bank Of The River Styx in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,994,500.00 (€ 2,289,548.13).
