Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Road to Rome: Property from a Distinguished Italian Private Collection, Part I, which included the work Villagers Preparing To Depart For The Festival Of The Madonna Dell'Arco by Pietro Fabris. The price achieved of USD 370,000.00 (€ 341,580.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Fabris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Carnival In Naples In 1778, With The 'Cavalcata Turca' Parading Through The Largo Di Palazzo, which sold at auction in December 2013 for GBP 782,500.00 (€ 941,226.14).

Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Road to Rome: Property from a Distinguished Italian Private Collection, Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Villagers Preparing To Depart For The Festival Of The Madonna Dell'Arco von Pietro Fabris zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 370.000,00 (€ 341.580,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden.
