Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Road to Rome: Property from a Distinguished Italian Private Collection, Part I, which included the work Naples, A View Of The Gulf Of Pozzuoli And The Islands Of Nisida, Procida, Ischia And Capri by Pietro Fabris. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 28,849.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Fabris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Carnival In Naples In 1778, With The 'Cavalcata Turca' Parading Through The Largo Di Palazzo in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 782,500.00 (€ 941,226.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Road to Rome: Property from a Distinguished Italian Private Collection, Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Naples, A View Of The Gulf Of Pozzuoli And The Islands Of Nisida, Procida, Ischia And Capri von Pietro Fabris zur Versteigerung kam.
