Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Naples, A View Over 'Il Miglio D'Oro', With Figures On A Terrace With A Telescope by Pietro Fabris was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,449.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Fabris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Carnival In Naples In 1778, With The 'Cavalcata Turca' Parading Through The Largo Di Palazzo in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 782,500.00 (€ 941,226.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Naples, A View Over 'Il Miglio D'Oro', With Figures On A Terrace With A Telescope von Pietro Fabris im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.449,37) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Fabris erzielen.
