The work Il Volto by Pietro Annigoni was auctioned at Il Ponte in November last year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,900.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Annigoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Princess Margaret in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 680,000.00 (€ 983,948.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il Volto von Pietro Annigoni kam im November letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.900,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Annigoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Princess Margaret im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 680.000,00 (€ 983.948,67).
