It achieved a price of USD 18,000.00 (€ 14,576.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Pieter Wouwerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horsemen Bathing Their Mounts At The Tour De Nesle With The Porte De Nesle And The Pont-Neuf Beyond, Paris in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 65,903.27).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 14.576,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Wouwerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horsemen Bathing Their Mounts At The Tour De Nesle With The Porte De Nesle And The Pont-Neuf Beyond, Paris im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.500,00 (€ 65.903,27).
