Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reiter in Landschaft by Pieter Wouwerman was auctioned at Lempertz in Cologne in May 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Wouwerman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horsemen Bathing Their Mounts At The Tour De Nesle With The Porte De Nesle And The Pont-Neuf Beyond, Paris in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 65,903.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reiter in Landschaft von Pieter Wouwerman kam im Mai 2016 bei Lempertz in Köln zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter Wouwerman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horsemen Bathing Their Mounts At The Tour De Nesle With The Porte De Nesle And The Pont-Neuf Beyond, Paris im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.500,00 (€ 65.903,27).
