In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Interior of a Gothic church sold for USD 68,500.00 (€ 54,073.26) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pieter Neefs the Elder; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vue De L'Intérieur De La Cathédrale Notre-Dame D'Anvers sold at auction in December 2009 with the realized price of EUR 87,282.00.
