This artwork by Pieter Neefs the Elder achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2016. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work A church interior sold for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,613.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Neefs the Elder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vue De L'Intérieur De La Cathédrale Notre-Dame D'Anvers, which sold at auction in December 2009 for EUR 87,282.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pieter Neefs the Elder erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wurde die Arbeit A church interior für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.613,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter Neefs the Elder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vue De L'Intérieur De La Cathédrale Notre-Dame D'Anvers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für EUR 87.282,00 versteigert wurde.
