In April 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction The Rafael Valls Sale, which included the work Pan And Syrinx In A River Landscape by Pieter Mulier the Elder. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,941.35), 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Mulier the Elder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Italianate landscape with a herdsman watering his livestock, which sold at auction in April 2006 for GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,102.66).

Im April 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Rafael Valls Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pan And Syrinx In A River Landscape von Pieter Mulier the Elder zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.941,35) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter Mulier the Elder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Italianate landscape with a herdsman watering his livestock beobachtet, die im April 2006 für GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.102,66) versteigert wurde.
