Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pieter Mulier the Younger could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work A Moonlit Scene With A Shepherd And Shepherdess Resting With Their Herd Beside A Lake changed hands for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,976.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Mulier the Younger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape With The Rape Of Europa, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 44,378.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
