Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,700.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Mulier the Younger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape With The Rape Of Europa, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 44,378.70).

Die Arbeit A Landscape With Figures In A Storm von Pieter Mulier the Younger wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.700,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
