Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings Sale, which included the work A Moonlit Pastoral Scene With A Shepherd Resting His Flock By A Lake by Pieter Mulier the Younger. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 20,900.00 (€ 26,644.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Pieter Mulier the Younger have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Landscape With The Rape Of Europa was auctioned for USD 60,000.00 (€ 44,378.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Moonlit Pastoral Scene With A Shepherd Resting His Flock By A Lake von Pieter Mulier the Younger zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 20.900,00 (€ 26.644,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Pieter Mulier the Younger konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Landscape With The Rape Of Europa für USD 60.000,00 (€ 44.378,70) versteigert.
