Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A threemaster and other shipping in choppy waters on a cloudy day by Pieter Mulier the Elder was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2001. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 16,450.00 (€ 7,924.41). Admittedly, works by Pieter Mulier the Elder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Italianate landscape with a herdsman watering his livestock in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,102.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A threemaster and other shipping in choppy waters on a cloudy day von Pieter Mulier the Elder wurde im Mai 2001 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 16.450,00 (€ 7.924,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Mulier the Elder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Italianate landscape with a herdsman watering his livestock im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.102,66).
