Auction result well in line with expectations
The work a small collection of prints by Pieter Dupont was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2002. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,527.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Dupont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A city view with figures at a canal, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 9,987.50 (€ 4,370.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit a small collection of prints von Pieter Dupont kam im März 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.527,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter Dupont mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A city view with figures at a canal beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 9.987,50 (€ 4.370,34) versteigert wurde.
