In September 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations, which included the work Deer in a forest in winter by Pieter Daniel Dik. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pieter Daniel Dik; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pheasants sold at auction in September 2006 with the realized price of EUR 5,040.00.

Im September 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deer in a forest in winter von Pieter Daniel Dik zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pieter Daniel Dik; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pheasants im September 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.040,00.
