A top price for Pieter D'Hont - as previously expected
The work Dutch anne Frank by Pieter D'Hont was sold in the 19th Century Paintings & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2010. The price achieved of EUR 5,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dutch anne Frank is the most expensive artwork by Pieter D'Hont that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Dutch anne Frank von Pieter D'Hont wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Dutch anne Frank das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pieter D'Hont, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
