Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Man And Child by Pieter D'Hont was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2009. It achieved a price of EUR 1,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter D'Hont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch anne Frank, which sold at auction in December 2010 for EUR 5,625.00.

Die Arbeit Man And Child von Pieter D'Hont kam im März 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter D'Hont mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch anne Frank beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für EUR 5.625,00 versteigert wurde.
