Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With A Basket Of Peaches, Grapes, Snail Shells, Medlars And Dead Game, All Arranged Beneath An Open Window by Peter Binoit was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 29,432.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Binoit achieve.
