Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Bunches Of Grapes In A Porcelain Bowl, Three Sparrows, And A Butterfly, With Peaches And Snails On The Stone Ledge Below by Peter Binoit was sold in the Old Master Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2007. The price achieved of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 98,515.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Binoit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips, roses, a cornflower, lily of the valley, primroses, a snowdrop and other flowers in a roemer, with a snail, two beetles, a ladybird and a caterpillar on a ledge; and An iris, narcissi, and other flowers in a roemer, with a butterfly and other in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 575,750.00 (€ 917,164

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 98.515,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
