In February 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work Still Life Of Flowers In An Earthenware Vase On A Stone Ledge, With Insects And A Caterpillar Beside It by Peter Binoit. The »bidding war« ended at USD 275,000.00 (€ 225,206.78), 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Binoit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips, roses, a cornflower, lily of the valley, primroses, a snowdrop and other flowers in a roemer, with a snail, two beetles, a ladybird and a caterpillar on a ledge; and An iris, narcissi, and other flowers in a roemer, with a butterfly and other in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 575,750.00 (€ 917,164

Im Februar 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers In An Earthenware Vase On A Stone Ledge, With Insects And A Caterpillar Beside It von Peter Binoit zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 225.206,78) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Binoit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tulips, roses, a cornflower, lily of the valley, primroses, a snowdrop and other flowers in a roemer, with a snail, two beetles, a ladybird and a caterpillar on a ledge; and An iris, narcissi, and other flowers in a roemer, with a butterfly and other im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 575.750,00 (€ 917.164,60).
