Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Selfportrait Of The Artist At Work by Piet van Wijngaerdt was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. The price achieved of EUR 1,440.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Piet van Wijngaerdt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Het Toilet in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 11,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Selfportrait Of The Artist At Work von Piet van Wijngaerdt kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.440,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piet van Wijngaerdt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Het Toilet im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.400,00.
