Auction result misses estimated price range
In January last year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of Mademoiselle Mars in Muscovite Attire, after Baron Gérard by Pierre Louis Bouvier for USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,460.93). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Louis Bouvier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Half Length, Holding An Artist'S Portfolio, Seated At A Table With A Chest Of Drawing Paraphernalia in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,929.47).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Half Length, Holding An Artist'S Portfolio, Seated At A Table With A Chest Of Drawing Paraphernalia im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.929,47).
