Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of An Officer by Pierre Louis Bouvier was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,333.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Louis Bouvier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Half Length, Holding An Artist'S Portfolio, Seated At A Table With A Chest Of Drawing Paraphernalia in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,929.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of An Officer von Pierre Louis Bouvier kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.333,11) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
