Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bouquet Of Roses by Pierre-Joseph Redouté was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2019. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,191.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Joseph Redouté achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Elaborate Still Life Of Flowers In A Glass Vase Resting On An Alabaster Pedestal With A Bird Nest And A Melon Below in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,504,000.00 (€ 1,926,450.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bouquet Of Roses von Pierre-Joseph Redouté kam im Januar 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.191,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Joseph Redouté erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Elaborate Still Life Of Flowers In A Glass Vase Resting On An Alabaster Pedestal With A Bird Nest And A Melon Below im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.504.000,00 (€ 1.926.450,22).
