Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sagittaria Ovata (Sagittaire À Feuilles Ovales) by Pierre-Joseph Redouté was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,234.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Joseph Redouté achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Elaborate Still Life Of Flowers In A Glass Vase Resting On An Alabaster Pedestal With A Bird Nest And A Melon Below in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,504,000.00 (€ 1,926,450.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sagittaria Ovata (Sagittaire À Feuilles Ovales) von Pierre-Joseph Redouté kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.234,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Joseph Redouté erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Elaborate Still Life Of Flowers In A Glass Vase Resting On An Alabaster Pedestal With A Bird Nest And A Melon Below im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.504.000,00 (€ 1.926.450,22).
