The price achieved of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 114,186.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 900,000.00 – 1,100,000.00. Other works by Pierre Jeanneret have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work A Painted Cedar And Teak Drawing Table, Circa 1960 was auctioned for USD 156,000.00 (€ 115,384.62).
