It achieved a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,717.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Pierre Jeanneret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Painted Cedar And Teak Drawing Table, Circa 1960 in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 115,384.62).

Die Arbeit Pigeonhole Desk von Pierre Jeanneret wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.717,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Jeanneret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Painted Cedar And Teak Drawing Table, Circa 1960 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 115.384,62).
