This artwork by Pierre Jeanneret achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2018. In the Boundless: India auction, the work Two Pj-Si-59-B Chairs (Kangaroo Chairs) sold for INR 2,125,000.00 (€ 26,836.97) - well above the upper estimate of INR 1,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Jeanneret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Painted Cedar And Teak Drawing Table, Circa 1960 in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 115,384.62).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Jeanneret erzielte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in Mumbai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Boundless: India wurde die Arbeit Two Pj-Si-59-B Chairs (Kangaroo Chairs) für INR 2.125.000,00 (€ 26.836,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von INR 1.000.000,00.
