This artwork by Pierre de Clausade achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2006. In the British, Continental and Russian Pictures auction, the work L'estuaire du Loire sold for GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,918.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pierre de Clausade; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Les Peupliers, Loire sold at auction in January 2008 with the realized price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,691.90).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre de Clausade erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit L'estuaire du Loire für GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.918,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pierre de Clausade; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Les Peupliers, Loire im Januar 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.691,90).
