Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Estuary Landscape by Pierre de Clausade was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,451.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre de Clausade - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Peupliers, Loire, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,691.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Estuary Landscape von Pierre de Clausade kam im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.451,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre de Clausade mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Peupliers, Loire beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.691,90) versteigert wurde.
