Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Plate II (Green Blue) by Pierre Clerk for USD 382.50 (€ 316.30). This price was achieved in the auction Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Pierre Clerk have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2021 by the work #10, from Morocco Series at USD 484.50 (€ 400.65).
