Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Serafino Falzacappa, studying at a table by Pier Leone Ghezzi was sold in the Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries auction at Sothebys in New York in January last year. The price achieved of USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,733.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00.
