Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January this year Christies in New York held the auction Remastered: Old Masters from the Collection of J.E. Safra - Selling Without Reserve, which included the work Paolo de Matteis in his studio by Pier Leone Ghezzi. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 60,480.00 (€ 55,700.87). Other works by Pier Leone Ghezzi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,453.24) in April 2008 for the work Paolo De Matteis In His Studio.

Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Remastered: Old Masters from the Collection of J.E. Safra - Selling Without Reserve durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paolo de Matteis in his studio von Pier Leone Ghezzi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 60.480,00 (€ 55.700,87) einen neuen Besitzer.
