Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.479,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piat Joseph Sauvage auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venus And Cupid im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 80.334,19).
