Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Philippe Pastor could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Untitled (Blue Monochrome) changed hands for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Pastor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (4 Seasons), which sold at auction in April 2014 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 57,818.49).

In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Blue Monochrome) für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Pastor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (4 Seasons) beobachtet, die im April 2014 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 57.818,49) versteigert wurde.
