Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Yellow Nissarte - 1993 by Philippe Mayaux. The price achieved of EUR 1,170.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philippe Mayaux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Un Couche De Soldats Unis Contre Le Motif - 2004 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 28,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yellow Nissarte - 1993 von Philippe Mayaux zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.170,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philippe Mayaux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Un Couche De Soldats Unis Contre Le Motif - 2004 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.600,00.
