Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 1, which included the work Tableau De Mariage, Inclination 30 Degres, Mars-Avril 1993 by Philippe Mayaux. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,294.00 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Mayaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un Couche De Soldats Unis Contre Le Motif - 2004, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 28,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 1 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tableau De Mariage, Inclination 30 Degres, Mars-Avril 1993 von Philippe Mayaux zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.294,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Mayaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un Couche De Soldats Unis Contre Le Motif - 2004 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 28.600,00 versteigert wurde.
