Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 1, which included the work After Love, 1992 by Philippe Mayaux. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,392.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Mayaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un Couche De Soldats Unis Contre Le Motif - 2004, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 28,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 1 durch, in der auch die Arbeit After Love, 1992 von Philippe Mayaux zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.392,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Mayaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un Couche De Soldats Unis Contre Le Motif - 2004 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 28.600,00 versteigert wurde.
