Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beaulieu by Philippe Hosiasson was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2012. The price achieved of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,582.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philippe Hosiasson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beaulieu von Philippe Hosiasson wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.582,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Hosiasson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
