In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1958 by Philippe Hosiasson. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,149.00 75% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Philippe Hosiasson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1958 von Philippe Hosiasson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.149,00 und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Hosiasson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
