Die Arbeit Ostensoir Aux Rayons Noirs 2 - 1977 von Philippe Dereux kam im März 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Dereux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Idole Solaire im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.625,00.
