This artwork by Philippe Dereux achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in April 2017. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Cariatide - 1993 sold for EUR 6,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Dereux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Idole Solaire, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 15,625.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Philippe Dereux erzielte im April 2017 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Cariatide - 1993 für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Dereux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Idole Solaire beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 15.625,00 versteigert wurde.
