Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work An Extensive Waterfall Landscape With A Saint Praying Before A Cross With All The Signs Of The Passion by Philipp Peter Roos. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 4,087.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philipp Peter Roos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A bull, goat, ram and sheepdog before ruins in a rocky landscape; and A sheep and a goat, with a horseman beyond in a rocky landscape in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 60,738.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Extensive Waterfall Landscape With A Saint Praying Before A Cross With All The Signs Of The Passion von Philipp Peter Roos zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A bull, goat, ram and sheepdog before ruins in a rocky landscape; and A sheep and a goat, with a horseman beyond in a rocky landscape im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 60.738,93).
