In June 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica, Strumenti Musicali, Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri, which included the work Paesaggio con armenti e cane da pastore by Philipp Peter Roos. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,400.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philipp Peter Roos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A bull, goat, ram and sheepdog before ruins in a rocky landscape; and A sheep and a goat, with a horseman beyond in a rocky landscape in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 60,738.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica, Strumenti Musicali, Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio con armenti e cane da pastore von Philipp Peter Roos zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.400,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philipp Peter Roos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A bull, goat, ram and sheepdog before ruins in a rocky landscape; and A sheep and a goat, with a horseman beyond in a rocky landscape im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 60.738,93).
