Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Old Peasant by Filipp Maliavin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,005.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Filipp Maliavin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Babas in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 546,286.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Old Peasant von Filipp Maliavin kam im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.005,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Filipp Maliavin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Babas im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 434.500,00 (€ 546.286,46).
