The work Baba In A Headscarf by Filipp Maliavin was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,291.72), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Filipp Maliavin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Babas in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 546,286.46).

Die Arbeit Baba In A Headscarf von Filipp Maliavin wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.291,72) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Filipp Maliavin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Babas im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 434.500,00 (€ 546.286,46).
