Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Portrait of the Ballerina Alexandra Balashova by Filipp Maliavin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,480.00 (€ 70,474.92), 21% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Filipp Maliavin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Babas in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 546,286.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of the Ballerina Alexandra Balashova von Filipp Maliavin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.480,00 (€ 70.474,92) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filipp Maliavin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Babas im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 434.500,00 (€ 546.286,46).
